Question 1

What do you need from us to get started?

Accepted Answer

Just tell us what you're hoping to achieve, who you're trying to reach and where the video will live. If it's a product, send over whatever you've got: CAD files, photos, measurements or even a physical sample. Brand guidelines and reference videos are a bonus. After more than 1,000 animated videos, we know which details matter early, so you won't be digging for extra files halfway through.

Question 2

Can you create a 3D animation without CAD files?

Accepted Answer

Of course. Our artists build accurate models from photos, sketches, technical drawings or physical samples all the time. CAD files just speed things up. When we animated a new six-watch collection for an online jewelry brand, every reflection and detail had to look exactly like the real thing, and we held every project to that same standard.

Question 3

How long does a 3D animation project take?

Accepted Answer

Usually anywhere from 2 to 12 weeks. A short product animation can be ready in 2 to 4 weeks, while character, medical or cinematic projects tend to need 8 weeks or more. Hitting deadlines is something our clients bring up a lot in their Clutch reviews, and that's because we plan every project around clear milestones from the very first call.

Question 4

How much does 3D animation cost?

Accepted Answer

Our projects start at $4,000 for a short single-product animation, and the price grows with length, detail and realism. Clients rate us 4.9 for cost on Clutch, and we think that's because our quotes spell out exactly what you're getting. No surprises later. Take a look at our packages above, or send us your brief for a custom quote. We are more than happy to customize quotes to your preference.

Question 5

How many revisions are included?

Accepted Answer

You'll get 2 to 4 rounds, depending on your package. Instead of waiting until the end to hear your thoughts, we check in at every key stage, from storyboard and style frames to animation. It's a big reason clients tell us we move quickly, even when there are lots of people giving feedback.

Question 6

Can you show how our product works internally?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and honestly, it's one of our favorite things to do. With exploded views, cross-sections and see-through shells, we can show the parts and mechanisms no camera could ever capture. We've done this for engineering firms, construction equipment makers and even litigation graphics, where every component has to be spot-on.

Question 7

Will the animation match our brand style?

Accepted Answer

Every time. Lighting, materials, colors, camera moves and pacing are all built around your brand. Before we go into full production, we'll share style frames with you, so you can see the look early and know exactly what's coming.

Question 8

Should we choose 2D or 3D animation?

Accepted Answer

It really depends on what you're showing. 3D shines for physical products, machinery, medical processes and anything that needs depth or realism. For software workflows and abstract ideas, 2D is often quicker and more budget-friendly. Since we do both, we'll simply recommend whatever works best for your message.

Question 9

Can 2D and 3D be combined in one video?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely, and the results can look amazing. We often pair 3D products or environments with 2D graphics, text and interface elements, so you get the realism of 3D and the clarity of 2D. We did exactly that for a self-care brand, mixing a 3D video with 2D animated snippets.

Question 10

What file formats will we receive?

Accepted Answer

You'll get MP4 for web and social, and ProRes for broadcast or further editing. Image sequences, 3D assets and project files are available too, depending on your package. Need shorter versions for different channels? We've got your back. We recently delivered a full series of 3D videos for a construction equipment company, complete with cutdowns for each platform. Do you wish to know more details? Feel free to contact us and we will share the visualizations & details.

Question 11

Do you sign NDAs for unreleased products?

Accepted Answer

Yes, happily. We work on a lot of products before they launch, so keeping things confidential is just part of how we operate. We'll sign an NDA before you share a single file.

Question 12

Do you use AI in your 3D animation process?

Accepted Answer

We do, but carefully. AI helps us move faster during early concept work and certain technical tasks. What it doesn't do is replace our people. Every model, animation and final frame is created and checked by our team of over 100 artists, designers and producers.
