Turning a Concept-Stage Surgical System Into a Clear 3D Training Experience

Bausch + Lomb needed a clear way to explain the setup and workflow of an ophthalmic surgical system. The machine was still at the concept and approval stage, which made the task more complex.Prolific Studio was brought in to create a detailed 3D training animation. The video had to show how the system works, how the setup begins, and how each main component connects during the process.The goal was simple: make a technical medical system easier to understand.

Project Objective

The animation was created to support doctors, surgical technicians, clinical teams, product trainers, and medical sales teams.

It needed to explain several important steps, including:

Machine setup
Tubing connections
Cassette placement
BSS bottle handling
Component positioning
Final workflow checks

The video also had to reduce the need for long documents, technical notes, and repeated live demonstrations.

Our Streamlined Approach
